feeling like a fancy running {future} farmgirl

Sometimes I get some surprises that leave me speechless; some more than others.  And a few weeks go I received an email from MaryJane Butters, the editor and founder of MaryJanes Farm Magazine informing me that I had been selected to be in their online magazine and if I was interested.  I was like: heck yeah!

Now, first allow me to begin by saying that I may be a city girl but I have a farmgirl heart.  I grew up in Puerto Rico to a family who had farming into their blood, raising chickens, growing food, and just being plain awesome!  I had a great childhood and love everything about it.  Which is why I have been reading this magazine for many years and four years ago I became officially MJF Farmgirl Sister #3030!!  To have THE MaryJane Butters email me was pretty unreal.  That she said that she could call me for an interview, was pretty awesome.  But I had horrible reception in Minnesota so email it was!  And a few days ago I received the online issue and the world surreal does not even begin to cover it.  I'm in this awesome magazine! Ahhh!

Not only was I in the magazine but I did not know I was the first person to be in the new feature "Every Girl Has A Story".  Yes, like no matter what happens years down the road I will forever remember this!  Below is the article with the interview (sorry about my cropping techniques).  If you want to read the entire issue, please go here.  It is full of awesome information.

This totally made my month!  I am so happy I could actually burst into a song!  This is seriously one of the coolest things to ever happen to me.  Hope you girls are having a great day!
